If it is simply outgoing Mail from CF you could use inFusion POST
Server Special Edition

We are using it for all new applications on a server with an
existing mail server rather than using the existing SMTP to send the mail.

Faultless performance so far and with CC,  BCC,  wordwrap in the
body the CFX Tag is much more flexible than the CF Mail tag.  

Going straight to the post server of course is faster as well.

It has resolved a lot of CF mail issues for us.
