Not helpful.
I can't just untar/cvs checkout my cf_root (etc) onto the new disk and have it 
work, which is the case at the moment.
This increases the length of time we'd be down for (plus I doubt I could lay 
my hands on the serial number quickly) in the event of a really bad server 
failure.
This is not a good thing.
