I don't know offhand of a XHTML validator, but I will say this: Activestate
Perl (http://www.activestate.com) is really easy to install. :-)

: Subject: Validating Markup
:
:
: Happy Friday everybody...
:
: quick question (i hope).
:
: My company is looking to start implementing some coding standards
: (yay!)...one of which is that all pages must validate XHTML 1.0
: transitional.
:
: Now, the validator that's built into CF Studio/DWMX/HS+ really
: doesn't work
: all that well (unless I'm using incorrectly, which is entirely possible).
: It doens't validate the CF parsed document...but the 'raw' CF
: code which is
: obviously not going to validate. Is there some way to get it to actually
: render the document as Web page and validate that code versus simply
: validating the contents of the .cfm document itself (i hope that
: made sense)
: :)
:
: Or, can somebody recommend a good validator to download? I work on the
: Intranet, which is behind a firewall...so validator.w3.org is of no use.
: The team that works on the public site develops behind a firewall, so it's
: of no use to them either. I know the source code can be downloaded...but
: before I look to start installing PERL I'm wondering if there are
: any decent
: third party apps that we can use behind the firewall.
:
: Thanks in advance,
: Charlie
