FreeBSD Has excellent Emulation of Linux binaries.
There are *VERY* few linux binaries that will not
operate under FreeBSD
Ex:
Renderman the program used for all of the special
effects int he Matrix is a Linux program. They used it
under FreeBSD using Linux Emulationa nd found it perofrmed
*better* than on a native Linux platform.
