Thanks for the reply...I have used the JVM arg com.gp.java2d.ExHeadlessGraphicsEnvironment as specified in the tech note. I have XFree86, XFree86-libs and freetype installed as well. the webchartsJava2d.jar does show up in my class path in the cf admin console.
