MySQL is faster, until you throw some serious traffic to it. It also depends
on if the MySQL is on Linux or Windows. On a windows box, forget it... On a
linux, then it is a bit faster :)

I tend to stick to MS SQL, simply because it's easier to use and (in my
experience) faster and more reliable.

My $.37 (Do I get change?) :)
