It's a matter of personal preferences, nothing more. I personally use Homesite, DW, TopStyle and a dedicated FTP app. Occasionally I mess around with NetBeans as well and I am thinking about addingXMLSpy to the arsenal :-))) > What feature of DWMX or CFS is so compelling that one should be willing to > switch between IDEs while doing CFML coding? Se my previous post, DW is slow (for my taste) and not trustworthy (that's a fact) > Isn't there more value to mastering a single IDE and its extensibility to > suit you, as opposed to bouncing between two IDEs? I would say I mastered both DW and Homesite (including extensibility) and I am not that bad with TopStyle. I would guess you can mastered more than just one and I consider it a good investment, but, again, it's just me. I know many people very much prefer a single IDE, even if a "uber tool" is always going to be affected by compromises ---------------------------- Massimo Foti Certified Dreamweaver MX Developer Certified Advanced ColdFusion MX Developer http://www.massimocorner.com/ ---------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm
