I still think it should be an option. That way those of us with it on will
see the red and understand. Not everyone can get FTP access out of the
office to put things  up in a website and some companies (my last one) hasve
really strict firewalls on sites such as yahoo and what not that provide
webspace.

Plain text is like speaking in a monotone. There is no emphasis on concepts,
ideas, etc.. I can't stand trying to get something across when I don't even
have Bold to work with :)

Hmmmm ... so I read all my email in plaintext.  I get email that says "see
the stuff in red" ... I don't see any red.  This does NOT aid communication.

I like the status quo -- post in plain text.This list is full of people who
have webspaces somewhere.    If you need to use HTML to explain something,
put it at a website and point to it.  Easy.
