considering using
BlueDragon Server on RedHat. I want to make sure I am not
misreading
anything: BlueDragon server, with the PostGres drivers,
costs nothing in
terms of a license. Can anyone (maybe from New Atlanta)
confirm this is
accurate?
Correct.
The entry-level version of BlueDragon Server is free for
development
and deployment, with restrictions only on redistribution.
>From the New Atlanta BlueDragon Software License Agreement
(SLA):
BlueDragon Server (Non-Fee Based).
Subject to this SLA, NAC grants you a limited,
non-exclusive,
non-transferable, non-assignable, non-sub-licensable
license to
download, install and use BlueDragon Server on a
single Server
machine for development, testing and deployment
purposes.
BlueDragon Server may not be bundled or distributed
with yours or
any third party application(s) unless a separate and
unique
VAR/OEM agreement is in place with NAC that
explicitly grants
these rights.
