In CFMX administrator on the Linux box set up the datasource using the IP
address of the SQL server.
On the SQL server box, create a SQL login for the data connector using TCP
protocol (you can even set up a unique port number here if you like and get away
from Port 1433).  Put the matching entries in CFMX administrator on the Linux
box, and you should be up and going.  DO NOT use Named Pipes!
