Good point.  MS SQL Server is pretty cheap compared to comparably
performing alternatives.  If you're putting up a web site for "Joe's Bait
& Tackle" and absolutely must have the security of MS SQL Server then you
have to be willing to pay for it.

For those advocating the purchase of CALs instead of the Internet
Connector license, how in the world do you determine "concurrent"
connections?  Doesn't CF itself have a limit, configured in the
Administrator, which is usually set in the neighborhood of four or five
concurrent processes?  If CF isn't running more than five templates
simultaneously, and given the sequential execution of CF templates, then I
don't see how the db server could concurrently process more (assuming one
db server being accessed by a single CF server).  Would this mean you'd
only need five CALs for net users?
