its the first step to getting to be an advanced user ;-).
It gets you a firm grounding in the concepts of the language.
Another good book is Ben Forta's Coldfusion Web Application Construction
Kit.
It explains concepts of programming in Coldfusion very simply, yet it
is a good choice to take you from Beginner to Intermediate.
If you find that learning from books is difficult, then perhaps you
should try to go to an introductory class. I know its hard for some
people to sit and 'learn' a language by reading a book. I caught my ass
trying to learn C from just a book (still haven't learnt it heh heh) ;-)
