ColdFusion for Dummies is years out of date and not that good to begin with. I'd
suggest ColdFusion, from static to dynamic in 10 steps as a perfect beginner
book. It only covers the basics, but does so in a way that leaves no questions
remaining. I even learned something from my review of it.
There are many other excellent books out there, but they are usually larger
books that cover everything or close to everything. For the basics, the book
above it perfect. For beyond the basics, you've got
Programming ColdFusion MX (Rob's book from O'Reilly)
CF Web Application Construction Kit (Ben and company)
CF MX Bible (Adam and company)
Mastering CFMX (Raymond and company)
There are others, but those are something like the top 4.
> Yea but I find most books don't have good enough examples for what I want to
do or they are over my head.
