I had not looked into it RECENTLY. When the registry was in its prelim
stages however, I did do some looking into it. I was only offering what I
know as of now based on what I knew before the registry was even public. So,
with that being said, I yes, I was wrong based on the information available
now.
What's your point?

Duane,
You can sign up as a telemarketer and download the list as either a flat
file or an XML file.
https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
More information here:
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/dncbizalrt.htm
<http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/dncbizalrt.htm>
You get five area codes free or have to pay $25 per area code, up to a max
of $7,375.
There is also a way to manually look up a small number of numbers but it is
not geared towards automation.
All of this info was readily available from the do not call website.
Michael,
>From your e-mail it's clear you have never worked with the do not call
numbers, didn't bother to check the web-site, and took a blatant guess at an
answer which turned out to be entirely incorrect. Do you think that really
helped?
Sam
