Some developers in my department are eager to learn about the new powers
of MX as we are currently running CF5 but looking to upgrade to MX
(about time!).
I was wondering what books people recommend for assured CF5 developers
making the jump to CFMX. So learning all about CFCs, CFXML & all the new
wonderful features of CFMX. I was considering Ben Fortas Advanced book
but the CF5 Advanced book was a bit about server management as well as
developing. We are looking for something more hardcore developing.
Also I need to learn .NET (c-sharp) this year to comply with works
learning ethos so I was wondering if anyone can recommend any books for
learning .NET from the ground up. I know the methodology of OOP but
might need some reminders.
