Yeah, and there's a windows media player version for mac users as well
(not that most mac users would download anything microsoft to their
mac).  It all depends on the audience.

WMV is native to Windows, isn't it?  As in installed by default?  I'm
reasonably sure I never have had to add anything to a win box to make it
work.

The client I have who uses this format to send video customer service
messages via email reports they work just great.  They send several
dozen per day.  Sure glad I set them up so they don't use my mail server
:D
