Access can run through JDBC, but it requires Windows OS to drive it
underneath the Java.  In other words, you can't run Access on anything
except Windows.  The Windows install doesn't have to be native, however.
It's entirely possible to install VMWare or another emulator on Linux and
run Windows and Access on that.
