minutes to expand the database tree with crystaltech. Ya know this
never really bothered me until Adam said something about it, but now it
does

Turns out that if you apply the SQL Server 2000 Service Packs (even on a
machine with only the client tools installed) Enterprise Manager gets a
lot more stable and that "timing out while loading databases" bug goes
away. I didn't believe the tech who told me that, but it worked.
