Actually, the version of ExcelQuery up at OpenXCF can both read and
write files. It accepts an action attribute, which specifies which way
to go. For example, the following.

<cfx_excelquery action=""
file="/Applications/BlueDragon_Server_JX/wwwroot/openxcf/test.xls"
variable="qry">
