In theory you are correct.

However the only real-time streamers I have access to get too far
behind the market to be useful  -- you can get a 5-minute delayed quote
from lots of sources.
If the streamer runs  more than 60 seconds behind, it is of limited
value.

In practice, the CFMX to RYO RIA delivers updates every 2-3 seconds.

I can sit and watch while the streamer catches up with the CFMX RYO RIA.

When the market is busy at close, the streamer takes several minutes to
stabilize.  The CFMX RYORIA stabilizes in a matter of seconds.
