Isn't that subscription restricted to a specified vendor list? Who in turn
resell it to us peasants? I'd love to have my own ZIP+4 list with
city/state/lattitude/longitude data. Am doing a zip radius thing for a client
now, and he's about to buy one of those vendor subscriptions.

For the most accurate possible, there is a simple subscription from the USPS
that will send you a CD every quarter with their ZIP+4 database updates.

Curious, most people hold a static list for ZIP validation or do you use
a real-time service lookup? I imagine it'd be static considering ZIPs
don't change much...but I really don't have a clue.
Suggestions appreciated!
Thanks!
