If you buy a support contract from either company I think you will find
both very responsive. New Atlanta though is more likely to have a
BlueDragon developer solve your problem as opposed to a support
technician.

Not sure what you are looking for here. Could BD and Flex be used
together in the same manner that CFMX and Flex can be used? I don't see
why not.
