Hi, Just install CFMX at home for a bit of fun however I can't seem to get the datasource setup page in CFAdmin to work correctly. The directory browser that you use to located your desired database is not there and instead I get a message telling me that the component does not work and I need the Java Runtime Environment installed. Fair Enough, so I downloaded and installed it except I still get that message.
So, does anyone have a clue why it is being a PIA and how I could get it to work. Alternatively I am aware that you can alter C:\CFusionMX\runtime\servers\default\SERVER-INF\jrun-resources.xml and setup the datasource in there ? How do I use this xml file to bypass cfadmin ?
