We use source safe 5 for source control on our development servers but are
currently in need of an implementation control as well with audit trail
capabilities for each file and change. Trick is that the audit trail needs
to be printed out as well as kept electronically. We also need a way of
keeping track of which files were actually moved into production and which
ones were not. Anyone run into or use such software.. I know v5 of
sourcesafe is not quite what we need. Its great for keeping tabs on who has
what out and what changes were made to each file, but no necessarily
implementation control.
Am I making any sense??? It was a long weekend...
