I don't think I was clear in my original post. There are a lot of databases & users for this SQL Server installation. Before the re-install what do I need to do in order to backup the users & permissions for all the databases? Do I just backup the Master database or maybe if I backup the correct configuration database(s), then I won't need to re-attached any of the databases, clean up orphaned users, and/or manually add back all the users & their permissions.

Thanks, Stan
