Each IDX is different in the way their data is accessed. Your best bet
is to contact the local MLS organization (for example, here in Raleigh,
North Carolina, it's the Triangle MLS at www.trianglemls.com). They
will be your best resource for most of what you need to know.
Some MLS organizations are VERY restrictive about who they allow to have
access to the data and such. Triangle MLS only allows member realtors
to work with "approved vendors" for MLS integration, and only Brokers
can have listings on their web sites, not individual agents. Individual
agents can only frame or link to their broker's web site.
You could look into a third party provider, like www.listingware.com -
they are a provider of IDX services...
