DW puts to whichever server was connected to last. In a new session
where no connections have been made, DW will put to the remote server
by default. If you want to put to the testing server, select it from
the dropdown at the top of the files panel and click connect. All put
operations will then go to the testing server, until you connect
manually to the remote server or restart DW.
I find that if I'm working on a site and I only want to put to the
testing server (well, at least until the mods have been completed) I
have to remove the username from the remote site ftp details, in case
I forget to connect to the testing server before putting. Accidently
overwriting live server files with dev versions is not a good thing :)
