variables would be faster when using a CFScript. I personally have
always tried to use CFScript for if/else, switch/case and variable
sets, mainly because I find it more readable than any other reason. I
do not use it for just one variable set though, something that simple
would more than likely be with a cfset or I would see if I could just
set it with a group of other variables elsewhere on the page.
