Does this mean that New Atlanta maintains a separate code base for Net
and Java?

If so, won't it be a difficult task to maintain
compatibility/consistancy among BD Java products, BD net products and
CFMX products.

This is good -- ironic that you can deploy a Production BDJ2ee on a
Production JRun on a Mac -- but no Production CFMX on a Mac.

I don't know the significance of CFML net ( or the net platform, itself)

Sooner, rather than later, I suspect that CFML will need to come under
the aegis of an independent standards organization -- good/bad mas o
menos!
