Exactly, and a lot of the errors in that book could have been found by
anyone, it would not have even taken a developer any way shape or
form.  Someone could have just sat down and followed each step during
a proofread and realized this and that is not working as the book says
it should.  And it is not just the examples, that is just the easiest
example to give.

No, I have never written a book nor never plan to write one. I however
have read a lot of books on a lot of subjects and there are very few
that I read and thought were just poorly done.  Again, simply my
opinion and one that a few of the reviewers on Amazon would appear to
agree with and a few disagree.
