All,

What's the best way to securely transfer customer's order information from an Affiliate
back to our company, the distributor?

We are a distributor. We're using Web services to share data with our Affiliates and give
them access to our product data related tables in our database.  Our Affiliates then store this
data in their database to be used for display on their web site.  Once our Affiliates consume
these Web services, they'll process orders of our products. We as the distrubtor, will drop
ship the Affiliates order directly to the Affiliate's customer on their behalf.  So if they are
collecting and processinig all the order information what would be the best way to transfer
their order information back to us for processing?

After an Affiliate's order has been successfully taken, we're suggesting the Affiliate Web site write
the order information to an XML template that we'll define and then give to each Affiliate
a secure folder to ftp the XML file to. We perform a similar process with this type of XML
data importing.  I just wanted to get some feedback if anyone had any other ideas or better methods.

Thanks

D
