important.
I suspect that Apple has special arrangements with the cc processors
for lower fees because of the high volume, low returns aspect of the
iTunes Music store.
And, batching approval in this way also benefits the processor as it
reduces the load on their systems.
I wonder if batching of orders applies to other parts of Apple's site
(Apple Store, dotMac, Developer connection) where you can purchase
things.
Apple made a big deal, some months ago, about consolidating all the
different logins, etc. to a single account for all your Apple
interaction.
I suspect what they do is immediately process any large order and
append any pending batch orders.
