Charset handling breakage is:
- unlikely if you use US-ASCII
- likely if you use ISO-8859-x or Win 125x
- certain if you use multibyte charsets
Make sure you test this well. Also, if you don't know what you
use currently, find out now and document it so you can roll back
if you discover an issue during implementation that you didn't
discover during testing.
