i would create a schedule task that sends out smaller amounts, maybe 500 at a time, and keeps track of where you are in the list. i dont think CF can handle sending 25K messages at once, it'll probably kill the server.

however, i've only had this issue on cf4.5, i havent tested sending bulk messages on CFMX - has anyone else???

i have seen a cfx mail tag that works really well, but it was also still limited to the number of messages that could be sent in 1 heap.
