i recommend that you first stop IIS :) then install apache as a service. go into services and DISABLE IIS, and enable apache to start up when you boot up. if you ever have issues starting apache, you can always attempt to start it up at the command line and debug it from there.

CF will also configure apache to execute CFM file rather than show the code if you install it afterwards; might make it easier for you than trying to manually configure apache.
