without quotes around them. No matter what I have tried, I end up with the
same error. I have even made a new text file as below:
A,B,C,D,E,F
"something","goes","in","here","to","test"
You get the picture, no matter what I have tried, I still get the same
errors.

Well - I'll take a crack at it. ;^)
A CSV file should only have content in it - no other HTML or tags. When you
"view source" on your CSV file the very first line should be the column
names and all other lines values. Your first line is a DocType declaration
which throws everything off (or at least that's what the error is claiming).
