I have tried. I hammered away on this for 2 days before I contacted the list. I get a 408 error on this request with nothing else in the errorDetail field. Also, the admin opened the URL from the Solaris box hosting our webserver with no problems. He also looked at the http request packet from ColdFusion and saw that the request had no header field specifying the use of HTTP1.1. Apparently Akamai requires HTTP 1.1 for certain requests. Also, Lewis Sellars' tag would work if I ran Wintel on web server. I run Solaris on a Sun box instead. This may be a moot point. The powers that be want to remove the weather anyway.
