Yes, but with changing technologies, you never know. XML and XSLT is getting to be more friendly and there are more tools. I'm not saying PDF will go, but if you expect PDFs to be around for the 20-year reunion of the class, that may not be feasible. I am just pointing out that the web medium may not be the best for long-term apps/displays unless you're willing to put some time into keeping it current with the changing technologies. Otherwise, a paper display may be better.
