Sorry to hear that someone took the look'n'feel of one your sites.  However, 
due to the inhereint nature of the web - it would be impossible to secure your 
site against this - automated or manual "stealing".  It is good though that 
nobody can take your backend code - unless there is a security problem.  

I wanted to point out that even if you were to implement a system that checks 
referers and/or ips against a server memory variable - there could be some new 
problems.

1.  Users that use proxies or anonymous services
2.  Search engine bots
3.  Users on a large internal network with few public ips
4.  Cloaking or spoofing ips or referers

Until the web is more secure, all we can do is try our best.  Sorry for such a 
late reply to your message.
