They did indeed. They are also using eclipse 2.1 as the base for WASD. I have to use WASD every day, and it sucks in a horrid way. It should not even be considered the same family as eclipse 3.x > I was going to try Eclipse, but then we were forced to start using "Web > Sphere Developer's Studio 5" (based on Eclipse). I have to reboot 2 times a day just to keep it running. Its CVS stuff it totally broken, and it just does insane things. I can't wait for them to base the new one on 3.x... It will be welcomed by a great many people around the office. > What a freaking nightmare beast. > > But the bottom line is apparently I'm wrong in judging Eclipse via through > that lens? Yes - don't think of them as the same product. I started using eclipse 3.x first, then I had to start using WASD and I thought it would be great as I knew eclipse yadda yadda... they are not even close to the same in speed and usability. -- ~The cfml plug-in for eclipse~ http://cfeclipse.tigris.org ~open source xslt IDE~ http://treebeard.sourceforge.net ~open source XML database~ http://ashpool.sourceforge.net ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Silver Sponsor - New Atlanta http://www.newatlanta.com Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:186827 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
