Does anybody know why my CFMX Server is failing to start up?

CFMX 6.1 Server does not start up for me on Win XP sp2, firewall is disabled.

After a clean stand-alone install, the installer tried to start up the
service, but it eventually timed out after 240 seconds. JRun remained
running in the backround, consuming all the CPU, but the service was
unavailable.

Even after a restart, this behavior happens whenever I try to start up
CFMX. JRun consumes all the CPU and eventually starting up the service
times out. If I wait a few minutes and try to start it up again, it
works the second time, but I am left with two JRun processes, with the
first one still consuming as much of the CPU as it can. It is
impossible to kill the failed background jrun process, even when I am
the owner of it.

No obvious errors are reported in any of the logs.

Using filemon, jrun.exe seems to stop loading when it reaches this
file: CFusionMX\runtime\jre\lib\rt.jar
The svchost.exe seems to stop while loading
C:\Windows\Prefetch\JRUN.exe-0ED58F14.pf

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Mike Chabot
