I just added another server at my own host of choice: Cybercon. They
cost more than CrystalTech, where, if you look at their prices, you
have to be getting the sweetest deal on the planet.

But I've got a client on C'Tech with a dedicated server. I have to
say that their tech support is substandard. For example, when I asked
why I was unable to make a *reliable* ODBC connection in CF5 to their
included SQL server space I was told that Macromedia recommended
against using ODBC on CF5 and that ODBC was not reliable with CF (!).
They only give you the option of DSN-less connections if you are on
CF5 and essentially pretend thats the way its supposed to work. Among
other things this forces us to use the Windows registry for client
variable storage. Not good.

Also that same client a few days ago had an outage. The client tells
me they let it stay down for two hours before attempting to fix it
(he's paying extra for their monitoring and problem-solving).

He's looking around for a replacement.
