Why not select the Link to Editor option (the double-arrow top right
of the navigator)? Now whatever file you're editing is highlighted in
the navigator. Then you navigate to your second project / file and
when you're done just control-left-arrow to switch back to the
previously viewed file and the navigator pane automatically jumps back
to that file / project too.
