Blogspot, the popular blogging software announced recently they will let people do data entry (adding blog content) by sending email messages. I work with people who would be VERY comfortable doing data entry via email, particularly blackberries.
Has anyone done this before (in any language) and can they comment? I am well aware of possibly security issues, but I can think of a dozen ways to lock this down. I want to know the pitfalls of translating emails into database queries. We're using Exchange here. Has anyone translated email msgs to data entry without manual intervention? Thanks!
