wouldn't matter, handling all those codepage encodings will kill you 
anyway. and currency symbols aren't even the tip of the iceberg. 
handling all your text/resource bundles/etc. via codepages isn't 
trivial. cf5 just wasn't an elegant i18n solution, no matter how hard it 
was hammered. the switch from cf5 to mx was pretty painful for most i18n 
apps, why revisit that?
