Hey! I do from time to time... For one of my closed source projects I wrote a little compatibility layer and allowed the client to choose which one they wanted to use (all the open ones, a couple commercial, and a java one for us safari guys). It's pretty cool and if you write it all generic like, you could use it for all sorts of projects. - maybe someone could write an open one...
