I partly agree - HOWEVER: The big problem is the way that MM distributes the
software in these markets. This is very different from the way the Server-SW
(not the tools market) is sold in the US: It goes through distributors and
partners (at least that was the idea).

This is circumvented by some large accounts purchasing the SW in other
markets (some are even cheaper than US -:) and reselling them directly to
end-customers below the official distributor purchase price in the local
market. This creates all kinds of problems, as you can imagine....

you can't really just do simpe price conversions... it just doesn't 
work.  A book that costs $50 in the US will most likely cost the 
equivellent of $80 in the UK and $20 in India.  It's all about what that 
market will bear.
