What are peoples' experience with this and its integration with ColdFusion?
What are its capabilities compared to other PDF tools...?

Nice... I thought this thread was history. I've checked up on ghostscript,
unfortunately I just don't have the project time to sort through the docs.
It's something I'd like to revisit.

On the other hand. Verypdf.com's tool took all of 10 minutes to get
working.  Thanks.

I'm using PDF To Image Converter 1.3 from verypdf.com
it's US $59.00

This is called from the command line and has served my purpose well.
What I am doing is creating large jpg "thumbnails" of pdf engineering docs
using this tool.

Late reply -- Emmet - I think there is functionality in ghostscript to
do this (this is probably what imagemagick is dependent on..)

/H.
