Hi, Michael...

That was the first place I went to, but when I enter the first number, 127,
I get a popup warning that says:

"IP addresses starting with 127 are not valid because they are reserved
for loopback addresses. Please specify some other valid value between 1
and 223."

I've never had this problem before, so I've never tried to enter 127.0.0.1
as an IP,
therefore I'm not sure if I would have gotten that error message prior to
the
problems I'm experiencing or not.

Interestingly enough, at the same time this problem showed up, some of my
CF Scheduled Tasks that are actually pages within a website, instead of
being
in a separate folder in C:/Inetpub/wwwroot, will not run, while the CF
Scheduled Tasks
that are in a Scheduled Tasks folder in C:/Inetpub/wwwroot continue to run
perfectly.

When I try to view a website using http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1, I
get
the html error page stating:

HTTP 403.1 Forbidden: Execute Access Forbidden
Internet Information Services

Under Technical Information it states:

You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other
executable program from a directory that does not allow
programs to be executed.

I figure somewhere I've fouled up my account permissions or something
when I was messing around with IIS's FTP permissions. I can't find any
settings that look wring, however...

Clues?

Rick

Rick,

Go to your network connections.
Right click on the connection.
Select properties.
Select TCP/IP from the list.
Click properties
Click advanced
Under IP settings tab, add 127.0.0.1 to that list.
