I've heard that mail clients in general have been tightening their
security with regard to html email -- i.e. no more active-x controls
(flash movies), and in some cases I think no more external file
references (javascript in particular, but I think also css, etc in
some cases). If you're using MX7 and using the new Flash Forms
features, that might provide an answer with Outlook. I've always been
under the impression that Outlook was intentionally written to allow
all html whether it adhered to email standards or not, though MS may
have also tightened it up under the same industry pressure responsible
for their recent efforts with windowsupdate and their recent
spyware-removal acquisition.
